UniK Appoints New DVC

The University of Kisubi Council and Management is privileged to announce the new Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Kisubi, Br. Dr. Celestine Kakooza.

Dr. Celestine Kakooza brings on board a lot of administrative experience to UniK, he has served as the financial administrator and Deputy vice Chancellor of Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Kenya- Nairobi since 2006 through to 2016. He served as Chairman Board of governors at St. Mary’s Duluti S.S Tanzania, and he’s also a member of International Standards Organization. Everyone is glad to have Dr. Celestine on Board.

He’s predecessor Br. Dr. Bernard Luwerekera has served UniK as Deputy Vice Chancellor and Human Resource Manager since 2014 till today 15-Feb-17, the day he handed over office, witnessed by the University Vice Chancellor Prof. John Ssebuwufu. We would like thank Dr. Bernard for the great job well done especially he’s role in structuring and nurturing University of Kisubi since its independence in 2015.

Br. Dr. Bernard Luwerekera will continue to serve at UniK as the Director of school of Graduate studies and Research. Good luck on your new role.

Iam convinced that Dr. Kakooza is going to nurture Unik with his wealth of knowledge acquired as a an administrator at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa- Nairobi, Kenya.
