The University of Kisubi held it’s 10th Graduation congregation on Friday, 10th February 2017 at the University Graduation grounds in Entebbe.
The Ceremony that was presided over by the University Chancellor Br. Peter Kazekulya while the chief guest(the Japaneses Ambassador to Uganda) His Excellency Kazuaki Kameda was represented by his Deputy.On behalf of the Chancellor of Uganda Martyrs University, Rev. Prof. John Chrysostom Maviiri the Vice Chancellor UMU conferred Degrees and awarded Diploma and certificates to the extension of 22nd congregation. Dr. Carol presided over the candidacy ceremony of Walsh Candidates and later conferred Degrees to the Walsh Candidates.
The Ceremony was one of the kind and special, as UniK witnessed it’s first ever congregation since its autonomy in 2015, followed by the extension of the 22nd congregation of Uganda Martyrs University and the Walsh University Congregation.
In his special message the Vice Chancellor (UniK) Prof. John Ssebuwufu advised parents not to neglect Graduands after Graduation citing its just the beginning, He farther advises the Gradaunds “not to shun anything that can earn you a living for at-least a day”.
“Stay current because the world you are about to join is in a rapidly changing information revolution and is in many ways becoming technology driven; where knowledge generated to day becomes absolute tomorrow”.
